A Little About Edge Bookkeeping

I’m Dannielle, the owner of Edge Bookkeeping, a Kelowna-based bookkeeping service built for real businesses — the ones running on tight schedules, job sites, last-minute changes, and long to-do lists. I believe bookkeeping should feel supportive, not stressful. I’m here to make things simple, clear, and easy to manage all year long.


Our mission is to offer a variety of bookkeeping services that ease the burdens of our clients. We tailor our plans to meet the unique needs of your business by leveraging our expertise in small business accounting. As a fellow small business, we understand the challenges faced by startups and small enterprises. We specialize in managing your daily accounting and payroll needs on an as-needed basis.

Our Expertise

We specialize in bookkeeping services tailored to your needs, covering day-to-day tasks such as A/P, A/R, GST, PST, and payroll. Let us relieve the pressure of keeping your books up to date, giving you back the time to focus on what you do best. We will collaborate with your accountant at the close of the fiscal year to enhance and simplify the small business accounting process. We primarily use QuickBooks and Sage 50, and are experienced in a variety of software.


In addition to our bookkeeping services, we pride ourselves on being administrative experts, well-versed in various software applications. MONTHLY PACKAGES AND PRICING

Starter Package

A solid foundation for very small businesses and solo owners who want their books done properly.

Best For:

Consultants, Service Providers, and Low-Transaction Businesses

Includes

$295 per month

 

  • Monthly bookkeeping (up to ~75 transactions)
     
  • Bank & credit card reconciliations (1 main bank account and 1 credit card)
     
  • Income & expense categorization (standard categories)
     
  • Monthly Profit & Loss report
     
  • GST tracking (filing available as an add-on)
     
  • Email support for quick questions (minimal)



If transaction volume or complexity increases consistently, we’ll recommend moving to a different package. 


Standard Package - most popular

Our most common package for small businesses and trades that want consistency and peace of mind.

Best For:

 Trades, contractors, and growing small businesses 

Includes

$495 per month

 

  • Monthly bookkeeping (up to ~150 transactions)


  • Bank & credit card reconciliations (up to 2 bank accounts and 2 credit cards) 


  • GST tracking and filing 


  • Monthly Profit & Loss + Balance Sheet


  • Payroll for up to 2 employees (paid on a regular schedule using a supported payroll system) 


  • Receipt organization support 


  • Email support and general questions included


Growth Package

For higher-volume or growing businesses that need more support and clearer financial insight.

Best For:

Busy trades businesses, companies with staff, or multiple accounts 

Includes

$695 per month

  

  • Monthly bookkeeping (up to ~250 transactions)
     
  • Multiple bank & credit card accounts
     
  • GST tracking and filing
     
  • Basic payroll coordination
     
  • Monthly financial reports with notes
     
  • Priority email support

Hourly Rates and Add-Ons

$60 - $75/hr

For catch-up or clean-up, historical bookkeeping, CRA correspondence support, one-time projects, or if you chose the hourly rate suits you better!

New employee setup, T4 & T4A preparation, ROE's, and PST billed hourly.

Overage Policy:

If transaction volume or complexity increases consistently, we’ll recommend moving to a different package. 


Basic payroll is limited to up to 2 employees with a consistent pay schedule. Additional employees or complexity may require an add-on or package adjustment. 

A transaction is any individual bank or credit card line item that requires review, categorization, or reconciliation.
